You’re searching for a favorite website, and up comes a 404 error page. Annoying? Sure. Entertaining? It can be, if you’re lucky enough to hit upon one with real imagination.
Graphic designer Francesco Mugnai collects 404s that find creative ways to tell you that the site you’re looking for’s gone AWOL. Most use humor and eye-catching graphics (like this old-fashioned one featuring a lost couple puzzling over a city directory). Others are snarky or simply bizarre (e.g., this photo of Sean Connery gotten up like Sasha Baron Cohen). Getting lost was never so much fun. Go see for yourself — assuming, of course, that the site’s still there.
