Test My Brain, a collaborative effort between a pair of Harvard labs, is designed to help researchers understand how the human brain works. They’d like to start with yours.
Click on the link below, and you’ll come to a series of fun, Web-based personality and aptitude tests. One test gauges your “Approximate Number Sense.” Another checks for prosopagnosia, or face blindness. (You’re presented with a series of celebrity faces, and you have to name them correctly; no pressure, but we scored 20 out of 20.) The tests offer personalized feedback, so you can take them in the name of science — or simple self-interest. Either way, they’re well worth the effort.
