Emory Allen is a Minneapolis-based graphic designer and the creator of An Exquisite Beast—an online, illustrated version of the Exquisite Corpse parlor game.
Each day, Allen draws a scene that picks up where the previous day’s illustration left off. Some of the segues are intuitive; others seem to have come straight out of Allen’s subconscious (which really does tend toward images that might have been ripped from a medieval bestiary). The latest illustration—a wicked little street scene—is drawing No. 127.
